Water-Skin Ceramic Bottle

This Art work of a Ceramic Bottle in the shape of a "water-Skin" was produced in a unique process. The painting effects are obtained by the burning of forms of copper on the ceramic surface. The firing is made inside stoneware containers containing organic substances and burned in a gas kiln (reduction process). The burnt organic material and the melted metal on the clay surface, gives the artwork a "Genesis look".
